Since the be beginning of the 2. calendar-week falls on Epiphany, i will dedicate a “solemnly” Fuchsia to this week:
Mission Bells, bred by Walker & Jones from the USA, known since 1948.
About the lineage i do not hold any knowledge, but about their performance: it flourishes splendous in the half-shade, does tolerate a few ours direct sunlight. The shoots are a bit rigid and should be supported to carry the weight of the blossoms and to stand the wind. The blossoms are quote bell-like, with a lovely bright colour.
Do you consent with my choice? Please leave a comment, leaving a classification between 1 (best) and 6 (worst)! Thank you indeed!
